Bringing Technology to Your World!

Computer Center InfoThe East Central Computer Center was founded in 1997 as a community computer access site. Our goal is to provide the community with low-cost computer access and instruction. We provide opportunities to learn new skills and enhance the lives of the residents of the East Central Community as well as Spokane. The Computer Center staff provides the encouragement and step-by step instruction ot overcome that fear and move ahead into the world of technology!

The computer center currently provides basic computer classes for seniors, adults, teens and children. We provide an Introduction to the Internet class that we encourage parents to attend with their children.

The East Central Community Center is dedicated to providing a safe, welcome and encouraging environment for those that want to learn more about computers and the Internet for personal enrichment as well as for job skills-enhancement and research.

We provide General Open Lab times throughout the week, reserved times for East Central Rec. Department's Teen Program and After School program, Homework nights with peer educators for our area's kids, various seminars on computer related topics, and provide a training site for various business's and additional non-profit groups.

The East Central Computer Center is also proud to be a Learning/Work experience site for various work re-entry programs throughout the City of Spokane. We concentrate on providing an atmosphere that will generate good feelings and desire to accomplish personal and professional goals to enhance future employment opportiunities.

We are a non-profit center dedicated to providing the community with quality education and job search assistance to enhance their lives.
